The Manfrotto TOP SYSTEM 54 is a lighting overhead suspension system that can be expanded or modified according to your requirements. It provides easy and quick precise positioning of lights, eliminating the clutter of lighting stands and power cables on the ground. The systems use a range of rails, carriages, telescopic columns, and manual hoists with the help of a spring/cable or motorized hoist.

Features of the Manfrotto TOP SYSTEM 54 for large studios:

• The aluminum rails in this set measure 9' 10' and 13' 3'.
• This set includes 2 fixed 16.4-inch rails and 3 movable 9.8-inch rails.
• The pantograph supports a load of up to 26 pounds suspended using friction device only, while loads up to 40 pounds require optional springs for maximum use.
• The four hoists can be adjusted to maintain the balance of suspended loads from 2 pounds to 10 pounds perfectly.
• The colored ring can adjust the hoist friction; this will ensure the load stays steady when set in position but moves smoothly up and down when needed. It is recommended to use springs to assist in lifting the hoists.
• Each hoist extends from 1'6 inches to 6'6 inches.
• Nylon wheels and metal ball bearings ensure safe operation with loads up to 39.5 pounds.
• The aluminum rails allow effective use for lighting backdrops, curtains, and background paper on studio walls and corners.
• All components are black to eliminate unwanted reflections.
