Anne Of Green Gables

She is an orphaned girl at the age of eleven who is mistakenly sent to middle-aged siblings Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert, who originally intended to adopt a boy to help them with their farm work in the fictional town of Avonlea located on Prince Edward Island, Canada.
